Farmers Electric Cooperative, Inc., in partnership with Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO), was honored to support and celebrate the installation of two more flagpoles with the Veterans Flagpole Initiative.

Flagpole #247 was installed at the rural Winterset home of Steve Chandler, who served as a director of Farmers Electric for 24 years.

Flagpole #248 was installed at the rural Greenfield home of Trey Eddy, a journeyman lineman who has worked for Farmers Electric for 10 years.

Surrounded by their families, both Steve and Trey were recognized for their service, as well as their dedication to Farmers Electric and the communities we serve.

Each installation included a flagpole, the raising of the American flag, an Iowa flag, and a light atop the pole—a lasting tribute to each veteran's service and sacrifice.

We are incredibly grateful to Steve and Trey for their service and for the difference they continue to make in our communities.
