Apprentice Lineman

POSITION SUMMARY
Farmers Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Lineman to join our team. We are a small rural distribution cooperative with over 1,800 miles of line serving approximately 5,000 meters in 6 southwest Iowa counties.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma and completion of a technical Line Worker program. Applicant must possess a thorough knowledge of electricity and electrical systems, a Class A CDL with no restrictions, ability to climb poles, and ability to operate various types of equipment. Pre-employment, post job offer drug test is required.
Must be available to work in all weather conditions. Additional on-call work is required for evenings, weekends and holidays when assisting in service restoration and emergency outages as needed.
